      Beautiful finishes in the apartment, updated and easily used appliances. Close parking with options. The Maintenance is dependable and friendly. Management was easy to work with and the location was optimal for traveling around Kansas City. I highly recommend The Haven at Shoal Creek for a safe and restful place to live.

      If you’re looking for a well-managed, friendly, and safe place to call home, I highly recommend it. I’ve noticed some negative reviews related to the amenities and management. I believe the management team does its best to maintain a peaceful environment. Let’s remember that they have a tough job balancing everyone’s needs. Amenities were closed at every apartment complex and I’m glad that they thought of our safety first.

      I’ve been living at The Haven at Shoal Creek for over a year now, and I can’t say enough good things about it! From the moment I moved in, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff and the sense of community here. The location is unbeatable. Close to parks, shopping centers, and great restaurants. I can easily walk to everything I need. Amenities: The amenities are top-notch. The pool area is my favorite spot during the summer, and the fitness center is well-equipped.       This place handled COVID-19 the worst I have seen. They would not let us use any of the amenities besides the pool outside of office hours even though they sent an email stating that it all would be open until 10:00pm again. I am frustrated beyond belief and feel like we are extremely over paying since we can’t even use half of the amenities when I get home from work. The apartment itself is nice but I would rather give my money to people who know how to run a business. The leasing agents are ...

      I have lived at The Haven for 4 years. I am so pleased with how professional the staff is. Anytime there is an issue big or small they always take care of it! I am so thankful that I will get to live here a good long time. I would recommend this property to anyone!

    • MGMT sucks

      These people will not fix any of the shared amenities. Bratty little kids will break the tvs and leave messes everywhere. The fire place and the hot tub have been broken for months.They nickel and dime you to death and require a 60 day notice if you plan to move out. Also month to month is 150 and a cancellation of lease is 3 months rent!

      I had to move out early. Paid the penalty, then got hit for pet damage. Management knows I never had a pet. I sent a letter contesting it, and instead of talking to me, they dinged my credit. I've never even seen a picture of the so-called pet damage. No animal was in my apartment - ever. Be wary.

      I really love living at the Havens. The staff are so nice, helpful, and professional including the management. They know its their job to take care of the residents and they make every effort to do that. They have always gone above and beyond to resolve any issue I have experienced. Also, the maintenance staff are all friendly and clean up after fixing anything in your apartment. Also, a pleasant surprise about living in such a large complex is that your neighbors are all friendly and quiet. ...
      At night, the police security team are always driving around to add extra safety. The apartment itself is very clean and has all new appliances. I have recommended a few of my friends to the Havens and they have been pleased with their decision to live here. As a bonus, It is close to 4 major highways.

      I have nothing but negative experiences with management. I have received better customer service from a McDonald's than this place. Never willing to help or listen to any concerns, it's always "out of their hands". Their communication is horrible and their professionality is never present. I really wanted to like this place, yet I wish I had never signed a lease here.
