MAJOR CONSTRUCTION NEXT DOOR! Don't consider this block until 2017!
August 17, 2015I would not consider moving into this building anytime until Spring 2017 at the earliest, for the simple reason that the block is under major construction. There are two apartment buildings being put up on W. 77th Street right now, one of which is literally next door to the Larstrand. The other is across the street on the other side of W. 77th, between Amsterdam and Broadway. So while the Larstrand may be a nice and modern building with all the frills, it just doesn't make any sense to rent ...there now unless you are totally oblivious to noise. Otherwise, you're just signing up for over a year of heavy construction right next door. It's possible that the apartments facing Broadway are quieter, but I wouldn't bet on it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
The Bachelors Paradise
August 13, 2015Good place to be if you are a bachelor. Inviting friends over for parties is easy with a community room lounge and a rooftop for amenities. Additionally, it is on the Upper West Side which is near the JCC Manhattan and other places which is convenient as far as location is concerned.Review from Apartments.com
