Convenient and Great Staff
August 28, 2024The location is very convenient with easy access to I-10, grocery stores, and more. There have been some maintenance issues in the apartment, but overall the maintenance staff (shout out to Augustin) have been so kind and attentive whenever I have an issue! Annette, the manager, and Samantha are also very friendly and really appreciate them putting together events such as a pool bbq to build community.Property Manager Responded

Loved my time here
April 29, 2024I have lived at the legends of El Paso for the last 5 years. The maintenance team responds quickly to any issues we had . Samantha and Brian were terrific in the front office dealing with issues and during the move out process. I would not hesitate to call the legends of El Paso my home again.Property Manager Responded

Convenient

No one answers the phone

False Appearances
April 4, 2023Legends of El Paso seems nice on the outside, but the complex is riddled with maintenance issues and poor management. Upon first contact, the front desk will appear friendly and attentive. Once the lease is signed, however, the front desk accomplishes the bare minimum. There are frequent issues with sewage backup, plumbing, broken utilities, trash littered about, and worst of all, the water constantly being turned off. During our year at Legends, the water was turned off to the entire complex, ...sometimes without warning, a total of 9 times (evidence of which is in the pictures below). The water could be turned off for a few hours, or twice the water was turned off for a couple of days. This means no showering after a long day of work and apologizing to guests that they have tl go to a nearby store to use the restroom. Twice the issues with the pipes were so bad, that sewage began backing up into our sink. Each time, we spent two hours dumbing the sewage water into our bathtub to avoid flooding while waiting for maintenance to arrive. Calls to the front desk go straight to voicemail and emails rarely get a reply. They claim to be a gated community, but our entire stay the front gate has always been wide open. Workout equipment was never cleaned and the thermostat was often broken. There were frequent noise complaints in the middle of the night that were never addressed by management. These issues occasionally escalated to the point of domestic violence and the police getting called. When we moved out, we were told we would only be charged for cleaning and for minor damages to the blinds. Not only were we charged $140 for carpet cleaning, but we were shocked to find out later that we were charged close to $500 to replace the carpet in each room. Apparently, the carpets were unable to be cleaned even though they were installed in 2018, and the front desk emailed us on 11/28/2022 stating that a request was submitted to have the $140 carpet cleaning charge refunded. Two months later, I still cannot get ahold of anyone from the front desk. Nobody has contacted us regarding any refund for being double charged. Bottom line, the front desk will do everything in their power to sign a lease, then completely drop off the radar.Property Manager Responded

Westside Area is nice
November 29, 2022Quiet neighborhood well constructed apartment units. Originally wanted to move to Avalon West next door but for a 1 bedroom you get a bigger unit for cheaper, I love the deep tubs and spacious closet. Nice gym and pool. And covered parking. Horrible noisy neighbors, the quality of people has significantly dropped
September 21, 2020This use to be a good place to live, but has been taken over by inconsiderate loud, obnoxious neighbors. I have given the management office several opportunities to address the issue but nothing has been done. My vehicle has been vandalized since I have tried to address the issue myself. If you have a family, or otherwise enjoy a peaceful home, this is not the place for you.Review from Apartments.com
