There is a Huuuugggee Ant Problem. There’s Ants coming out from under the kitchen cabinets on the walls, they come out in your bathroom faucets, in your bathroom cabinet, in your bedroom. And they are not regular ants they are RED ANTS!! You can have the cleanest apartment and the ants still come crawling out because they are literally inside of the walls and regular ant killers will not help. Don’t Walk, Run As Fast As You Can Away From this apartment complex Looks Are Definitely Deceiving!!! ...
And the leasing office never answers their phone you always have to physically go to the leasing office if you need something. Just unprofessional and terrible!

DON'T LIVE HERE

They are only here to take your rent money. I have been living with black mold and cockroaches for MONTHS without any care from front office staff. My bedroom flooded (to the point where I couldn't go in it without shoes on) and this flood was left unresolved for over a month. I call, I put in maintenance tickets and I go to the leasing office to inform them of these issues right away. The property manager will just flip it to make you look like you're in the wrong for wanting to live somewhere ...
without mold, bugs and leaks. It's all about money and flipping apartments to new unsuspecting residents. If you want a serious health/safety hazard such as mold or a front door that doesn't shut for 3+ months this is not the place to live. I was told "that's what renters insurance is for" and "you can move out if you have an issue with the problems you're having" Laughable.

Community Looking Better

The New Manager is all about cleaning up things! The community is looking better. I appreciate the fresh paint in my hallway and cleaning the outside of my building. I can tell by the newsletters management sends out monthly that she is definitely about cleanliness and the grounds are kept up way better than before to prove it. Thank you! I recently moved here and I believe things are improving. Management is superb ! Deionna ! I put in a maintenance request and my issue was resolved within an hour ! Brandon the new maintenance guy is sharp ! I’m loving it here.

Worst apartment in Indiana

My girlfriend and I lived here for one year and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with an apartment. Maintenance is virtually nonexistent and will say your requests are complete without ever coming out. The droves of roaches are disgusting and you can expect mold and water damage in every unit. The office staff were incompetent and lazy when it came to communicating with residents and following up on maintenance requests. You and your family will not be made a priority at this complex. ...
Definitely not worth the headache. Save your money and go somewhere else.

good to me

i just signed my next year lease.i have been at Hidden Oak Estates two years now ,I had small issues at first but the maintenance people took care of them right away.They are a great group of people.i have had no problems since.some of the neighbors do not respect the property,but you are always going to have that no matter where you go.It's a good location ,easy access to 465 and airport.The office staff has always been very respectful and easy to deal with.I hope to be here a few more years.

This place is a dumb

This place has a really bad mice problem . The maintenance is god awful . My heat went out 4 time and it took maintenance weeks to come look at my apartment. Please don’t move here the mice are everywhere and the hallway always smell like weed

Hidden Oaks

ROACHES. No matter how much we clean or put out traps, the building is infested. I've also heard about bed bugs and mice from other areas. We've gone almost two months so far without AC, even though they keep marking our service requests completed. A bottle of syrup literally exploded in our cabinet from the heat. Parents let their terrible children run around unsupervised, screaming, breaking property, collecting glass bottles out of the trash and throwing them. Laundry rooms are disgusting and ...
have had my laundry stolen. Pretty much anyone who drives a car is a rude & dangerous nightmare. Cops outside about once a week. Living here has been a miserable experience and I recommend just spending extra money elsewhere.

Hidden Oaks Estates.

Hidden Oaks Estates delivers when they say the only bill outside of rent is electric, but outside of that, they fall terribly short. The front office is sweet and helpful until you sign the lease, then you are essentially on your own. I went for two months without air conditioning because they refused to even look at it. I had to threaten to fix it myself and as soon as i started talking about reembursment, they sent someone out that day. It is set up to squeeze as much money out of you as ...
possible, and because of the way the lease is worded, no matter how bad things may get, "only the apartment owners may deem an apartment uninhabitable, not the inhabitant, nor an outside source". I had to deal with that when my apartment was infested with both bedbugs AND fleas. The apartment office refused to send anyone out there until a regularly scheduled check happened... two weeks from the report... Our dishwasher has been broken for months as well, and still hasn't been fixed. The only reasons i would recomend this apartment is it's location, the relatively low cost of rent, and the small electric bill. If you need somewhere you don't want to spend alot of time, i would recomend as long as you keep it clean and check for pests often, otherwise, spend the extra 20-40 a month to get a better apartment elsewhere.

Wont happen again.

Me and my wife lived in one of their one bedroom apartments a little while back. It was our first home together and we had "its new" eyes for everything about it. It seemed flawless. Then we lived there for a while. Cracks in the walls became noticeable, the low quality of the appliances(as one by one they began to break down and have problems), and i dont know if maybe we just got lucky or what but half of our floor was unlevel with the rest of the building. With the exception of one of the ...
office staff, the management team was less than welcoming or "on the ball". The best part of the experience there was the privacy, the quietness, the location, and the price(which has since gone up). If you need something cheap and fast this could be for you. If you can afford better, I'd suggest it. Not worth the fallout.

biggest mistake
October 8, 2014
Kids screaming outside at two in the morning. Half the parents don't watch their kids. Cabinets were warped. Put in a request, called three times, and talked to office staff several times and in 10 months time, nothing was ever done. Had to go outside to make a phone call because reception was horrible. I've never been so happy to move. I love how they market their homes as elegant. There's nothing elegant about that place!

Not worth your time

The office will make it all look all pretty for you and make it sound about how great they are. They deff. are not. The halls stink, people do not clean up after their animals, and when you ask to be able to get out of your lease they always tell you it isn't possible but people are constantly moving in and out of this place. Then throughout the night people are yelling and blasting music even in the middle of winter! Also, they have been raising their rent.
