Hello,
Thank you for your review. We want to makes sure you understand The Republic does not shut off the power to residents based on their electricity usage. Electricity is paid by The Republic and billed to residents through their resident portal, so the account remains in the property’s name. We have never shut off a resident’s power because they were using too much electricity. There could have been a power outage with the utility company or you may have had a breaker trip in your apartment. If you’re experiencing an issue with your power or have a question about your utility charges, please reach out to our office so we can look into it with you. We can always send one of our maintenance team members to your apartment to help review any concerns you might have. We look forward to hearing back from you.
