My family lived at The Retreat at Tiffany Woods from March–December 2025 after a house fire. While the residents and maintenance team were wonderful, management issues ultimately made our stay stressful.
Despite always paying rent on time and resolving issues promptly, I received excessive communication from the Property Manager regarding complaints not outlined in the lease. My lease was later not renewed, with the reason given that I “gave the property manager a headache.” We ultimately agreed ...
to an early move-out without penalty.
The lease lacks clear community policies, leading to inconsistent rule enforcement. Family-related issues were especially concerning, including an incident where police were called on my children for being in the office—based on rules never stated in the lease.
Safety and transparency were also concerns. Serious incidents occurred in our building, yet residents—particularly families—were not informed. Amenities were frequently unavailable, and policies around pets and shared spaces felt unevenly enforced.
While the location, units, neighbors, and maintenance staff are great, the management approach created a culture of fear and inconsistency. If you value clear rules, transparency, and respectful treatment, I would recommend researching multiple resident reviews before leasing.
