All the neighbors have been very kind and welcoming, the staff is helpful and gets things done quickly and well, and the price is really good for the size of apartment you get and the location. Do not move here!
December 1, 2020I wish I could give this place 0 stars. This place is very unsafe. My first week of moving into the apartment my car was broken into and someone tried to steal my license plates. The dumpsters are always overly full and have possums hanging out overnight. If you like insect infestation, thin walls, and rodent infestation this is the perfect place for you. If you like Management giving you less than a 24 hour notice to come into your apartment then this is perfect for you. The rent is overly high ...for the poor service and bad building structure. Clean, Quiet, & Close to the Interstate
November 19, 2019This apartment complex is a great place to live - fairly quiet, safe, and relatively affordable. I'm all about having my own washer/dryer in my unit and this place has them! Quick Maintenance Response Times and Pet Friendly
November 18, 2019I love how quiet the apartments are. The maintenance team is quick at responding to tickets (one time I put a ticket in on Saturday and by Monday when I got home it was taken care of!) And they are more than pet friendly - they have a campaign to waive pet deposits if you adopt a pet from a list of selected shelters during a set timeframe.Property Manager Responded

June 4, 2019This is the most unprofessional management I have ever dealt with while living in apartments. There has been so many break-ins to the same tenants MULTIPLE TIMES!!!!! When you go to the leasing office and ask Maggie or Laura they will LIE and say nothing has never happened on this property. I personally know 5 different people who had their car broken into and management still won’t put up security cameras. One tenant had to PROTEST to try and get her daughter out of her lease but that still ...didn’t work. They gave another neighbor a 10-day vacate after they expressed they filled unsafe in their apartment and were telling other neighbors what was going on!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE PLEASE IT IS NOT SAFE!!! Very DANGEROUS place to live!!
April 20, 2019Very DANGEROUS place to live! I have had 3 police reports in the past 7 months! My vehicle was stolen, found wrecked in Kansas, and on April 3, 2019, my apartment was burglarized, middle of the day while is was at work! To date, management has done nothing to notify other residents of these crimes! KC police department was wonderful with my 911 call, and while interviewing other residents, all had had similar experiences with vehicle or apartment break ins or knew someone who did! Even employees ...have had their vehicles broken into! The police said this is not a high-crime area, but the criminals have found a "honey hole" because management tries to keep criminal activity quiet - "we don't want to cause panic" continues to be their response! What?! Don't residents deserve to know so that they can be more careful? Don't they deserve to know so they can better protect themselves? I am a 23-year-old single female that no longer feels safe in my own home at this Retreat at Woodlands, and management has done nothing to make things better! Stay away! There are many, many more apartment complexes that truly value their residents and their safety! This is a typical big corporation that only sees dollars! Why else would they offer $300 incentives for referrals to secure new leases? I I anxiously await the end of my lease! Stay away! Look elsewhere!!Property Manager Responded
