Don't Bother, Unless You're Really Desperate
November 28, 2018Lived in a unit 2 years, paid rent on time, everything was mediocre when I first moved in. The place wasn't the nicest, was told that a lot of the interior was renovated, such as "new" carpet and painted walls (even though it was not). Kitchen and bathroom sinks were disgusting, rusty, and damaged. It was a "livable" unit, but not worth the price at all. When weather got bad, the ceiling was leaking, and maintainence requests were always delayed, even after putting in tickets when requesting the ...office. T ventilation system was HORRIBLE. Exhaust from the neighboring units would come in through your kitchen, causing your whole apartment to smell. Having the A/C on would just recirculate that air back in through the unit. A lot of residents with pets never bothered to pick up after their business, therefore a lot of dog poop would go everywhere after the lawn was mowed. Save yourself the trouble, and find a better place in this town, not affiliated with these people.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
WORST EXPERIENCE
October 13, 2018Never been more displeased with an apartment complex. Started having issues day 1. My apartment kept having large puddles of standing water every time I would come home. I kept putting in maintenance tickets and it would never get fixed. I'm not the only tenant with this same problem. Even tenants from other complexes owned by Stephenville Apartments experience the same issue. Some of them worse off than mine. Aside from all the puddles that kept forming in my complex I incurred a late fee for ...not paying rent when I clearly had an email that my rent was paid for the month and called up there every day asking about it "it should" "itll be fine" was all I would hear. Next thing I know I have a paper stuck to my door of a late fee. Call the office and flat out told me there was nothing they could do. It was either pay the extra $75 late fee $15 processing fee or get evicted. Stephenville apartments does not care. They just want money. AVOID STEPHENVILLE APARTMENTS AT ALL COST (Parkview, Lillian II, Oak Tree, College View, The Columns, and Auburn Place or you will experience the same as the rest of us. They're owned by Stephenville Apartments). Even contractors around Stephenville talk about how terrible Stephenville Apartments are. January 27, 2017I have lived at Park West for a year and half. I love the quietness of my apartment. The apartments are clean and well maintained. The management people are awesome and very friendly. Maintenance is top notch and respond quickly to any request.Review from Apartments.com
