I LOVE LIVING HERE

But I am in arguably the best apartment, so there's that. There are safe, well-lit stairs and even an elevator. Management is responsive and the building is quiet. It is non-smoking and a non-party building. Small pets are allowed and there are a few parking spaces at extra cost. Relatively new remodel, so there is not a bug or pest issue.

I lived at the Tides in the early 70's. I can't believe it's still there after all of these years. It was a wonderful place to live then and it was just minutes from the beach and downtown La Jolla. Rent prices are still reasonable. This is a real bargain considering the location.

Nice remodeled units, location, but beware of noise coming from ceilings due to very poor flooring insulation, made worse if you happen to get an inconsiderate neighbor above you.
