We lived at Township Apartments for seven years. It was a great place for our family of five to live. As most have said in the reviews, the management is what makes Township Apartments difficult to love. When we first arrived at Oakbrook (the previous name before new ownership took over) it was staffed properly, the manager was incredible to work with, and they took care of the tenants. Today, that is not the case and it is likely due to cost cutting initiatives. Township needs to be managed
...better, period. They also need to take care of the water leak issues that are plaguing a number of the apartments, including the one we lived in. My wife and I woke up one night to water dripping from our window. They were able to seal the crack, but it was a patch for a bigger issue. We were told they were going to fix this known issue last Summer (2019), but that never happened. The staff at the office has been great to work with and the poor management is no reflection of them. They can only do what they are told. I hope that Landmark (owners of Township) can get new management in to help lift the reputation of Township and make the needed repairs to the complex. Otherwise, I fear they will continue to go downhill.
