Beware
November 4, 2018Management is not helpful. Emergency maintenance does not respond in acceptable amount of time. After a small flood happen in my apartment, repairs were not done properly. After being told I can move out due to evidence of standing water, I was not returned my rent nor deposit. The management team has been a avoiding all calls and emails. Trash every where

Decent place
August 8, 2017If you're looking for something clean and with newer appliances but with an affordable rent for two then I would recommend this property. However just keep in mind they do lawn work early mornings Monday through Friday so if you work the night shift you'll be woken up every Tuesday at least at 9am as they mow the grass. Maintenance is unavailable on weekends and really unavailable period. Since living here for the past two years the dishwasher has not worked and I have written letters and called ...and left messages but after 2 years so I'm still sitting here with the same broken dishwasher. We had mold in our bedroom ceilings both years we lived here and had to get that repaired and cleansed twice. The bathroom sink upstairs has been leaking since I moved in I have called and I have written letters and it has not been fixed the kitchen sink has broken twice the second time in January and I have called and written letters and have yet to have a working kitchen sink so I have to boil water to clean my home. Slowly but surely this place hard to fall apart after I moved in and the office and maintenance only care about if your rent is on time they don't care about anything else.Property Manager Responded

Great price !
April 14, 2017I have been living her for over 7 months now and it has been okay.I have a two bedroom townhome with black appliance so for the price compare to other apts. I give the maintenance staff one star, they only have 2 people on maintenance staff and they are so behind on work orders. When you put in a work order it takes weeks for the actually repair your request. PLEASE GET NEW MAINTENANCE TEAM !.Review from Apartments.com
Be careful
October 20, 2016We were moved into an apartment with a broken dishwasher. After a year and 7 months, multiple complaints and work orders, we are still stuck with a broken dishwasher. Our washer/dryer unit had to be replaced as well within the 1st year. Mold has been growing in my bedroom for almost 11 months now. First complaint they sent a maintenance man who spray painted over it and called it a day. Since then the mold has grown through the paint and has been causing my family to be frequently ill. However, a ...week after our second complaint we came home to a note asking us to be patient (its just poisonous black mold right?) =/..... These people are very slow to fix even the most severe issues and when they do theyve consistantly done a half assed job. Loud neighbors and yelling almost every night. Its becoming the biggest nightmare. Working on breaking lease and filing a suit. Unless you absolutely cant afford anything else, I wouldnt recommend this place even to an enemy.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Villas at Oakwood
October 1, 2015i enjoy renting at this community. The grounds are well kept. Staff is always available. The Units are very Spacious . There is a gym in the community. I believe that the two most prominent features are security and city police patrol the community every day. Lastly, it's on the bus line. the bus takes all passengers right to the heart of downtown.
