Resident of 8 years come 02/2020
December 6, 2019I am a resident of almost 8 years come 02/2020. I DO NOT recommend living here. At all. My first 6 years, I would've highly recommended The Vinings for many reasons: • Quiet neighborhood • Amenities such as gym, tennis court, racketball court, lots of space for my dog • Location (2min from Walmart, CVS, Food Lion, 5min from i95) • Quick maintenance response (my ac quit on me at least 6 times, but they did fix it) • Friendly staff, especially leasing. • Community events around holidays with free ...food. Now, my last two years have completely tarnished the positive experience living here. First, there was a sprinkler issue management failed to acknowledge. When I say issue, I mean the system ran daily for hours at one point. Not only did this impact my water bill (because it is split amongst the community) but the sprinklers were spraying hard water that left spots on my black car that are still there to this day. Management response was "Move the car" and there was nothing else they'd be willing to do as far as fixing the paint on my car. Second, billing has been a nightmare. I renewed my 2019 lease in March. So I paid my monthly lease rent with no problem. April, my lease vanishes and they charge me a $300 premium. When I bring this to their attention, they need to contact their tech support because nobody knows what happened. No big deal, I understand accidents happen but I won't be liable for their $300 mistake. I sign another lease in April. It vanishes. This issue drags on until May where they are able to correct the $300 mistake. I sign ANOTHER lease in May. Management said I was then liable for a prorated $100 month to month premium "because I did not sign the lease in time". Back and forth with the manager, she agreed to only credit $50 of the $100. My frustration caused me to pay the extra $50 to get it over with. continued on another review..Property Manager Responded

Really great place
January 7, 2019We have been so happy here. The maintenance staff mainly Clif and Jessie are really great. Erin and Casey in the office are so sweet. It’s so good to be able to bring our bichon here he is getting old and it’s good go to a community that isn’t crazy on fees. We are proud to open our home to our family while living here. It is very nice. We have a lot of space and a lot of kind neighbors. That’s hard to find in an apartment community.Review from Apartments.com
DO NOT RECCOMMEND
August 6, 2017DO NOT recommend this place AT ALL! Me and my family have been here for quite some long time and we have been having a horrible experience! First off, we have a big issue with the amount of mold this place has on the windows, we are all allergic to mold ! We have allergic reactions such as headaches , sinus etc... We also HAVE HORRIBLE INTERNET!! We bought the best router out there in the market but this nasty 2003 modem they gave us is really DISAPPOINTING! its 2017 and your supplying us with a ...2003 dated modem that slows down our internet! SOMETIMES WE HAVE NO WIFI AT ALL! We cant do anything online properly and the router even tells you where the problem occurs and it always says the modem is messing up because its OUTDATED! It's from 2003 like come on you can give us a up to date modem , but otherwise First off, you are overcharged for cable and internet when they give you the most outdated equipment in which doesn't directly comes from dish . they install you old cable boxes and modems from 2003 which slow your up to date WiFi routers down EFFECTIVELY and when are water heater caught on fire for them not fixing the leak when it was one it was a very bad situation .The staff are really really rude at times! They TAKE FOREVER TO GET BACK TO YOU ABOUT HELP! They OVERCHARGE US FOR THE STUFF THAT ISN'T WORTH IT! The internet and cable is nasty and outdated ! Don't buy a good router cause the 2003 Motorola router will slow it down ! Don't even invest your time in buying anything, they overcharge and there too expensive. They give you old appliances ! That mess up often. But most bugging is the internet and outdated modem making us pay over 100$ a month for cable and internet this really outdated and messy. DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!Property Manager Responded

We are the only area community to do this. If you notice any internet or cable issues, please notify us as soon as possible and we will send someone out to troubleshoot the situation. DONT MOVE ON PROPERTY WATER ISSUES AND THEY DONT RETURN DEPOSIT
December 15, 2016I moved out apartment 3 months ago. Property refuses to return deposit or return call. May have to call news stations to get money back. The property also doesn't plow in winter and hard to get cars out. Office staff (Allison ) Is very rude and the reason I put my notice in vacate property. Worse apartment to live at!!!
September 30, 2016First they do not tell you that Comcast, Verizon or no other cable provider is offered at these apartments and you are forced to receive their expensive services if you want cable and Internet. Secondly since I moved here I've been killing big water bugs /cock roaches. I've complained twice and the problem still hasn't been fixed yet. Why should I pay $900 for one bedroom to deal with insects. I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here.Review from Apartments.com
