So far I have liked my time at Quincy. Move-in felt seamless, and the community is quiet. It's also in a prime location for a young adult. There is a grocery store, a couple bars, a book shop, and a beautiful European-style cafe across the street. However, some things were not fixed or cleaned prior to me moving in. One of the burners of my stovetop wasn't working, and I found towels that were not mine in the washer the first time I went to use it. Furthermore, the dishwasher doesn't fit the ...

Quincy is in a nice neighborhood. Local shopping center is very convenient with Smiths and fast food options. The apartments are spacious and having a garage is a bonus (but the shape each garage is in upon move in can be questionable). Parking is tight, so be warned that typically every weekday by 6:00 pm every parking spot is taken. The complex doesn’t verify or reserve parking in any way beyond garages. Even though the pool is heated, the pools are closed September through May. This is ...

Pros: spacious units, garages, dog park, close to shopping and a park. Cons: maintenance team does poor work on work orders, parking is difficult to find in the evening, office raises rent every year despite offering newly renovated units for lower prices, bug infestations (roaches) are common no matter how clean and how much you spray, pool closes mid September and does not reopen until late May (despite the fact that there is a hot tub and on our tour they told us the pool was heated and ...

usable year round…), neighbors do not respect quiet hours, office does not enforce lease policies (such as not using your garage as a storage locker filled with junk, everyone does it and they don’t care).

The apartment is modern and clean, with high-quality finishes and appliances. I especially appreciate the spacious layout and large windows that bring in a lot of natural light. The building is quiet, which has made settling in and adjusting to the new space a lot easier.

Quincy is located in a nice neighborhood with a convenient park and grocery store within easy walking distance. The units are spacious and it is a great bonus to have a garage. However, the amenities are unreliable. The front pool has been closed for over a week and according to Quincy communications it will be closed “until further notice”. It stinks to lose access to a pool in the middle of Summer. The gym at Quincy is only open during office hours (office closes at 5:00), so you can’t reliably ...

use it, and when the office staff take people on tours they close and lock the gym. When we renewed our lease, Quincy raised our rent to be over $100 more a month than the same unit was being advertised for online. When we brought this up to the office staff their response was “The renewal price is non negotiable. Accept it or move out”. Zero explanation as for why it was acceptable for them to charge us $100 more than they are charging new residents. And lastly, parking spaces are scarce.

I absolutely love this apartment and everything about it! The pet spa is such a standout feature—it’s fully stocked with a dog washing sink, blow dryer, treats, and even tennis balls. The location is perfect with a beautiful park directly across the street, the whole complex looks amazing, and everything was so clean when we moved in.
