    Living at Timber Lakes I like living in the city and having the woods right by. Occasionally I get to see some deer. Overall most people are friendly. The office staff is very friendly. They are always happy to help if you are having a problem. The maintenance crew comes in right away if you need some maintenance work done. I give Timber Lakes an A.

    Lack of communication Placed a work order & happen to look online only to see out was listed as completed when nothing has been done, but the problem was still ongoing only when i called the office was i told anything concerning my maintenance request they just closed it without any communication to the resident at all!     Weed Control I am not seeing a difference in the rock area by the stairs that is outside my bedroom window. It just doesn't appear that all of the weeds where sprayed. I hope you didn't spray my plant. It looks different but it did rain, and now it is laying open in all directions. Why isn't the lawn care company using the weed eaters on these tall weeds?     Slow response time and communication improvement After a week no one had come out to even look at my broken washer. I had to call and was told someone would be out that day. They didn't come until the next day. I was told I would need a new washer and that it would arrive the very next day. It wasn't delivered and I had to wait until the following Monday (3 more days). I felt the response time was slow, and I didn't appreciate being told multiple times that things would happen on a certain day ...
    and they didn't. I understand some things happen, but the communication wasn't good. I was told I'd get a call if there was an issue with the truck which arrives at 11 from what I was told. I didn't receive word that it didn't arrive until the end of the day. The office did offer me keys to a vacant unit so that I didn't have to go to a laundromat over the weekend. I appreciated that and that's the reason I'm giving 3 stars in addition to the positive attitudes of the maintenance staff.

    Air Conditioning My air conditioner was in need of repair due to mold from the apartment above. The maintenance men were very helpful. The men went upstairs to see the apartment and discovered the leak to my apartment and air conditioner. The repair took longer than planned but the men were very good about finding me some portable air conditioner units so that my house could be cooler. Shane and Chris checked up on me several times to make sure that I was ok and that my house was not so hot. I am ...
