BEWARE!
May 16, 2017Beware of hidden maintenance issues. The staff appear friendly and professional until you have an issue they are too cheap to resolve. The units are emptying out quickly, for a reason. They always have "specials", for a reason. These townhomes need to be remodeled, old pipes replaced, old counter tops replaced, vents, you name it, it needs to be replaced! I'm wondering what is being done with the 6.1 million dollar HUD loan used to refinance and restore the property. The staff must have ...written the other reviews or the tenants who wrote them are oblivious to whats really going on in their neighborhood.Property Manager Responded

I love my neighborhood...
March 9, 2017I have lived at the Timbers for twenty-three years in December, since 1994. Other than when I first moved here the management now has been outstanding. The manager whenever I need something done on a work order or support with anything they are sure to help! Also, the maintenance staff has been superb getting things done. I’m beginning to see Timbers Norfolk LLC are doing things that haven’t been done in so many years. Current staff are dedicated,hard workers...
March 8, 2017I wish to let you know something that I feel is very important regarding the Timbers personnel. I have lived here for almost 20 years and throughout this time a lot of maintenance/office staff have come and gone. I noticed something different about the past versus current personnel. The current personnel seem very dedicated to their jobs, they are very business like individuals and work very hard. For example, when the maintenance staff enters a unit, they are there until the problems are fixed. ...Past maintenance would come in and jerry-rig what's wrong and be done with it. Current maintenance personnel are there for as long as they to be until the job is done and you can guarantee when they come out there are not any problems in that unit. I often walk the property and can sometimes see into vacant units through the blinds/sliding glass doors and witness the results of their hard work! There has been some good staff here on this property but the current staff is so much more proficient at their jobs. One thing that definitely stands out here is that they work so hard at their jobs, I've never seen this kind of dedication since I've lived here. I'm sure the management/owners know how good their staff is and now the tenants who have also been here for years that I've spoken to have noticed the change as well. Nice Place
February 28, 2017I have been living here for 42 years and I must say that the neighborhood has done a whole 360. It is very peaceful and quite, I love sitting outside in front of my home watching the kids and cars drive by. I love living here and the new office managers Jennifer and Asia are awesome. Love this place!
January 24, 2017These apartments are near perfect for the rental price. Rooms are large, kitchen is to die for. They have patios on the back where you can put a grill and patio furniture , the lawn is also well maintained. They offer off street parking for residents and visitors. There is a school, bank, police sub-station, and other apartments not far from here. Easy access to Interstate 64 east and west. November 16, 2016I came into the office sometime last week and was great by two wonderful young women in the office. They were kind, professional and down to earth. I was given the rental specials and a application. The price for a 2 bedroom was fair for the amount of sq footage they offer.
