No one cares about emergency maintenance to be resolved until f it requires 3rd party contractors

It took me almost two years to write this review.
First, I want to say that if it wasn’t for our maintenance technician, John, living here would have been much more difficult. He does everything he can, but there’s only so much one person can do. Our AC has been broken for 11 days despite submitting three maintenance requests. It stopped working over the weekend, and even after making an emergency maintenance call, it doesn’t seem like anyone followed up afterward to check whether the issue had ...
been resolved. Thankfully, John came back from vacation this week and was able to provide us with a portable AC, which has at least made the apartment somewhat livable.
Another ongoing issue has been the neighbors. In almost two years of living here, I had/ have multiple months with neighbors who did significantly affect my quality of life. If it’s not people smoking marijuana inside the building premises, with the smoke and smell drifting into my apartment every day, it’s someone screaming outside my windows day and night.
I wouldn’t describe these as luxury apartments. your experience depends a lot on having decent neighbors and hoping that maintenance issue doesn’t not require 3rd party involvement
