This is a top-notch, professionally managed apartment complex. I've lived here for almost 3 years and will renew. Many neighbors are equally satisfied and have been here many years. It's safe, management responds to my every call. Example: a barking dog (once), a clogged drain (once), a spider sighting (once), or help of any kind (like, a question about carpet cleaning (it turned out, with the annual renewal, it's free).
They keep this place up - the grounds, the laundry house, the pool, the ...
barbecue patio, the mailbox area, the parking spots... on a daily or weekly basis. And not just community areas, but renovations of my patio, deck, windows, doors. And it's truly safe. I walk at night; feel totally safe.
It's family friendly, too, with kids playing on the lawn (reasonable times) and toddlers laughing when they meet new toddlers in the common areas. Pets are treated like family, too. I can only speak of what I see, and this is all true.
I would highly recommend Villa Camarillo - when I moved in, I told the agent that "I don't want to have to move again; I want to make this home" and that has come true for me.
I lived in other rentals; several tricked us by touring through nice areas. Ultimately, I moved in, only to have to negotiate dirty laundry rooms, past roaches, pest-control smells (that obviously didn't work), shoddy upkeep of the grounds, and neighboring tenants with ugly belongings that were eyesores. This is not the case with Villa Camarillo.
