I also reported that the guardrails for my balcony were missing slats and I was afraid my guide dog would fall off the balcony if it wasn't repaired immediately. And none of the light fixtures had the Globes it was all bare light bulbs. Every time I pay my rent, every time I go to the office to pick up a package, every time I have a few minutes at work I call and request these items to be fixed. They haven't fixed one thing in 10 months. On top of those problems, 4 months ago we became infested with rats. It wasn't till I hired a lawyer and threatened to file a complaint with the city that they sent a maintenance worker to my apartment. (Btw) they refused to give me or my lawyer contact information for the owner so that a 7-Day demand letter could be sent to him via certified mail. 2 Days Later a maintenance man finally visited me . He removed the dishwasher to discover gallons of standing water and mold, rats nest and water damage. He repaired 4 rat holes, rewired, and covered 3 electrical outlets that had burnt out and replaced the entire shower system that was the cause of leaks (more mold) and no hot water. You know what he did to repair my AC and heating? He replaced the air filter and it magically began to work. Too bad no one thought of doing that before. The burned-out circuit breakers were replaced the next day. Although my carpets still look like a crime scene and I still can't open my windows/fire exits,for now I am satisfied. It is also true what other reviews have stated that there isn't nearly enough residential parking spaces and zero visitor parking . it's so bad that you are forced to pay $40 a month if you want a reserved space.
