Greedy and poorly managed
November 20, 2023 - Review from Apartments.comSuch a terribly managed apartment. Their poor maintenance caused a huge leak in my apartment and I couldn't get ahold of anybody for hours. I had inches of water covering my floor and I couldn't use my apartment for days, and neither could my downstairs neighbor. They refused to pay for a hotel and insisted I use my apartment insurance to cover the cost (which was several hundred dollars for me to use). Also, once you reach the end of your lease, they jack up the prices exorbitantly. I decided ...to move out instead of accepting the $400 increase in my rent. When they put my unit back on the market, it was BELOW the price I was originally paying. Obviously the markup wasn't due to fluctuations in the market - just their greed. Now, a year after I've moved out, I found out that a collection agency is after me. I've not received any notification of bills due by Vista Imperio via phone or email and I can't get a hold of them to explain what this charge is for. I assume it is yet another mistake due to poor management.Read More
Terrible management, poor communication
August 18, 2023 - Review from Apartments.comVery poor management. Slow or nonexistent communication from leasing office. They would often forget about set appointments we had with them. Leasing manager was often “unavailable” or “not in today” causing delays in anything we needed to get done. Their online payment portal rarely worked which resulted in extra fees we had to pay every month (credit card fee or cashiers check). Management expected us to be available in the middle of the day on a workday to do the exit walk through. Leasing ...office Staff would show up late and leave early. Parking was always very difficult. I would not recommend Vista Imperio to anyone looking to rent. Rent here is way too high for what you get and staff is very inflexible on negotiating. Sorry I moved in
September 5, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comI moved in with a lengthly list of repairs that should have been done prior to occupancy. They have been good about fixing things promptly, but why wasn't the place checked before I moved in. Why wasn't there a proper walk through. From a broken garbage disposal to no hot water, it took almost two weeks to fix things that should have been done before move in. The apartment was not clean (understatement. The filth in the neighborhood and inability of management to deal with neighbor issues ...is a problem. The dog waste stations have not been emptied since I moved in and are overflowing. I awake every day to cigarettes on my patio. Smoking is not allowed. Now I'm afriad because the neighbor seems to be retaliating against my complaining about the multiple cigarette butts on my patio every day. I'm really sorry I moved here.
