Great Location
March 22, 2020If you love living downtown and like being within walking distance of great hangouts, this is a great option. The management is responsive to maintenance requests when placed through the proper channels. You pay your rent electronically through a website or the phone app. You can put your maintenance tickets in via the app also. They have periodic happy hours where you can meet your neighbors. It includes all the properties, so its a lot of fun. Many of the services they promote are ...not available at this site. Your mail and packages are in a secured lobby so your packages don't get wet or go missing. USPS has a great system for securing mail and packages. UPS an Fedex uses the really nice parcel pending package lockers. The parking situation is a mixed bag. In rain or snow, you have covered parking. Parking is not assigned. You are competing with commuters to nearby businesses for spaces. If you leave for work before 730 and come home after 5, you don't notice them. If you leave between 730 and 800, you are playing chicken to get out of the garage as the commuters don't respect that people are leaving. Sometimes its hard to get backed out of your space due to the constant flow of in bound traffic. It is managed by Allentown Parking Authority who really doesn't understand the needs of residential parking. If you come home from shopping or a short shift in the middle of the day, you are parking on the top 2 floors. If you have shopping items to bring in, you will be coming down to the units to get a cart then you have to go all the way back up to your car to get your shopping. On the weekends, you can park close. You often have to hunt for the carts as neighbors often don't return them to the entrance.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
