Good building, terrible management
June 18, 2023The apartment is pretty nice, but good luck if you ever want to get in touch with management. I've lived here for two years and they never fixed the things that were broken before I moved in. When it came time to renew this year, I tried contacting them through email and phone and was completely ignored for two months. The 60-day notice period came and went, until finally, less than a month before my lease is up, they emailed saying they would be raising the rate. You're telling me they can't ...even be bothered to pick up the phone when I'm trying to renew, and now they want more money? With 30 days' notice, when the lease stipulates 60 days' notice? Amazing building and staff
March 1, 2021I love living at Whispering Oaks! Modern apartments and building! I love my spa bathroom with the heated floors and rainforest shower head! Love my kitchen and how the fridge and dishwasher are hidden. Super sleek and modern. Staff is very responsive! As soon as Covid-19 hit they were on signage for masks and doing what they could to inform the community. We are all adults and shouldn't need reminding that wearing masks for our safety is needed but nonetheless they still put signs up for ...those individuals. I love living here and look forward to renewing!Property Manager Responded

No masks required for residents during COVID 19
September 6, 2020The management company Akelius does not ask the residents to wear masks in common areas, including the one elevator for the entire building that is heavily used. I find this very worrisome and I feel uneasy every time I have to enter common areas in the building where residents are freely spreading their droplets without masks. I will not be renewing my lease for this reason alone.Property Manager Responded
