I'm HOME! Amazing Complex

Coodos to my Property Manager Vickie! I was very nervous moving into Sioux Falls (and knowing no-one). I searched and viewed many apartment sites before finding Willow Creek and Vickie instantly welcomed me! My stay here in the last few years has been amazing. You instantly feel at home. The complex is well kept, the apartments are "like new". The appliances are new, the paint and carpet is well maintained. If I ever had an issue, it was handled promptly. Vickie is awesome!

We had a pleasant experience until we moved out. They made several errors in calculating our final deposit. The property manager had us living at her other property and sent us an assessment for that property. She said we didn't turn in both parking tags (when I turned mine in earlier because I had a garage), and they didn't calculate the carpet depreciation value correctly. This is to name a few glaring mistakes. If I did this in my profession I would have been fired.

initial summary I called Vickie asking her to call me back because I had several questions on how she assessed our final checkout. Vickie never called me back. So we called Vickie's supervisor to get answers. Vickie called my wife back instead. She said we had pictures, but we didn't see the pictures of the carpet until we called to get them...
The biggest issue goes to pet owners. Make sure you take pictures of your apartment before you move out. They will try and get you for carpet damage. . My dog hardly ever has accidents and the apartment never smelled of urine. Urine has a very distinct smell and it never had the odor. Remember South Dakota renters do not have rights so you will not win with Vickie and Bender properties.
If I could give a rating lower than poor I would.

I had an amazing experience when renting here. My landlord was always helpful and prompt. The apartment building was always well kept and all of the neighbors were very pleasant. All of the appliances were new, the apartment was clean when I moved in, and the carpets had been cleaned. The building was also very quiet. If I ever had a problem my landlord helped me by the end of the next day. I had an awesome experience living here.

We stayed in Willow creek apartments for a year. We had a great experience being there.It's pretty clean & organized apartments. Bestest thing was service requests were answered on time with solution. Vickie is great with her work. She is always supportive & prompt.She is the bestest landlord lady I her ever met!! I would 100% recommend these apartments to people who been looking in sioux falls :) :)
