Bad Customer Service. I was looking for a place to stay in Amarillo and gave this place a call. Upon calling, a man answered the phone and I explained that I wanted to get a pricing on a room. The man said "We are closed, call back Monday". Cool no big deal, but It was 2:30 in the afternoon, so I asked "Your closed right now? when should I call back?". The man on the phone let out a obvious sigh, and hung up the phone.... It wasn't that he didn't hear me, he clearly was running out of patience or ...

The office staff is excellent! From the moment we entered the office we were greeted by everyone in the office. We moved in on 12/31/18 and have been treated very well by the office management& leasing agents. Upon signing our lease the leasing agent (Tracie) made sure we understood everything about our lease. Even made sure we understood the parking sticker and parking rules regarding the covered parking. We moved in from out of town and they even help us with ensuring that we had the correct ...

phone numbers for the utilities so that they would be on when we moved in. And when we need the directions somewhere they don't are quick to let us know the easiest routes to get where we want to go. we've had to put in a couple of work orders but they have made sure that the were done either the same day or the next day. They have not once been rude to us. If i could say one thing to the owner of this property it would be this. i don't where you found this staff but i would do whatever is necessary to hang on to them . Because it shows in the way they treat new renters that they work great together! Thank You for making our Transition to Amarillo a very easy and smooth one!!! I don't believe it would have went as smooth as it did. Thank You and we will recommend Windtree to friends and family!

We've been here since 2013; we didn't expect to stay for more than a year but it's turned into five now; management is always friendly, courteous and helpful but most importantly they're civil. The rents are reasonable but ours has increased over the previous five years but you can get a lot of apartment for the going rate--we moved to a 600 sq foot apartment from a 1500 sq ft two story quad Santa Fe, NM--so I 'm going a bit nuts trying to cope with the loss of space; Maintenance is great; we've ...

always had any problems fixed promptly; there is always a free carpet cleaning with the renewals on the lease.The pools are nice--there is always a summer pool party; the weight room is decent although it could use some upgrading; there is always free coffee and cookies. My only dislikes or complaints is that the management has changed so many times since we've been here, especially before Atlas Residential acquired the property; a renter can't be late EVER--with the exception of one time. This complex is a little old however; it was built in 1979 but they improve and update on a regular basis but the whole place is starting to settle and there are noticeable cracks in the in the walls near the ceiling where the foundation for the upstairs is placing a load of stress on the rest of the building and these are really difficult and expensive to fix; they remodeled the entire exterior a few years back and the place looks a lot more modern and they are currently changing the carpets and updating the patios; All in all I would recommend Windtree to anyone wanting to rent in Amarillo

I have lived here 4 years and hope I never have to move. Any maintenance problem I have had has always been corrected in a timely manner. The maintence men have always been courteous even when called out late at night. These apartments are old and do need help. I hope the owners will have new appliances put in current residents apartments so they will have no issues and will want to stay. It is so expensive to move. I know the owners are making improvements so we need to give them time to make ...

In May of 2016 I moved my 2 college girls into Windtree apartments in Amarillo Texas. We choose Windtree because of the location and the price of the apartment. At that time, we just got a 1 bedroom apartment because one of the girls was only there a few nights a week. We have now decided to transfer to a 2 bedroom apartment because both will be there all the time. Tiffany Brown and Amy Vasquez have been so helpful in making sure this transfer runs smoothly. excited about the new things that are happening at Windtree. We have seen new renovations taking place all over the complex. The grounds are looking so nice! We see many good things happening. The girls are loving the new Golds Gym membership that is now included with the lease and they are even offering money back to you when you refer your friends to live at Windtree. I see great things happening at Windtree. Great location, great price, great staff, and most of all my girls have felt SAFE! Thank you Windtree!
