you can do better
September 7, 2024This review is based off of our experience living in unit O103 from November 2021 - July 2024. We moved from out of state for work, and when we arrived we did all the final paperwork and grabbed our keys. When we walked in, the place was disgusting. They had laid down new carpet but other than that the place was FILTHY & A LOT of things were broken. The carpet wasn’t even fully laid yet. We were paying for an “upgraded apartment” LOL so there was supposed to be the laminate in the main room, & ...when we asked they said that this was the “upgraded” apartment. They sold us on it bc of our dogs, making it easy to sweep, ect. They gave us 3 days off rent-which we had to fight for a few more days because of the major inconvenience (out of state move). We couldn’t stay in the apartment until it was livable. We gave them a week with us out of the apt, and when we returned, while mostly cleaner, there were still SO many things broken! Mind you, when we first grabbed our keys initially, it was a week AFTER our lease started, giving them extra time to get the placed fixed up. Pretty much from the moment we moved in everyone in the office was wayyy less friendly than when trying to get you to sign a lease with them. Our heat went in & out the entire time we lived there - the emergency maintenance guy showed us how to reset it so we didn’t have to call him (yes it’s easy but how dumb) the washing machine did not properly wash our clothes the first full year even with multiple maintenance requests until one of the more competent maintenance people caught the issue. Gross. Many of our clothes got mystery stains on them after “washing them” in the broken machine and had to get rid of them. There was a plumbing issue in our building that left sewage in both of the bath tubs, sinks, seeping out of the floors, ect. We had to tell them they missed our apartment & they almost did not fix ours that night because the leasing office did not let maintenance know our apartment was also compromised. They LEFT the sewage without cleaning it all weekend, and when we told the leasing office the following week when we were back in town, they basically said “Oopsies, we’ll make a note.” we paid for cleaning services out of pocket. Absolutely gross and unsanitary. MOLD. All over the apartment. No matter how often we wiped with vinegar and bleach, left windows open, had dehumidifiers, left our fans on (which is hilarious they don’t turn off because of how gross the place is) -Property Manager Responded
September 20, 2024Hello Marissa, thank you for taking a moment to share your feedback. There is no doubt that we absolutely fell short with your move in, and we regret that we were not able to gain your confidence after that. We did bring a housekeeper and maintenance in to make the items right, and, as you stated, we did refund your rent during that time. We did not charge you any cleaning fees at the time of your move out, we only charged you for the pet damage to the carpet as we were not able to save the carpeting. Again, we are truly sorry that we did not meet your expectations and wish you nothing but the very best. - Kimberly B., Regional Manager

This place is horrible
July 29, 2018We moved from out of state site unseen. We picked Woodcliffe because it was one of the least expensive locations, but you get what you pay for. At first we moved into a one bedroom it wasn’t that bad. The windows did get condinsation on them which led to mold around the window but we cleaned it up whatever. Our issues started when we moved into a two bedroom (I wanted to leave but my husband liked the location in relation to work). In our two bedroom it had a musty smell from the beginning. I ...figured it was because of the damp carpet but it never went away. Turns out he condinsation only formed on the windows in the master bedroom. It would drip onto the carpet every night. We complained about the mold (which was also all over the wall) and said we were concerned it was in the carpet. We also said we think the mold is IN the wall and that it was water damaged because the wall is bubbling and they said it was because cause we kept our house too cold and never did anything about the carpets and that the wall read 16% moisture which is a normal reading. At the same time we went to decorate for the holidays. When we pulled our decorations out of the outside closet they were eaten/ urinated/ deficated on by a rodent of some sort. I was so upset. There was a horrible draft in our apartment. We asked to have our door sealed but that really didn’t do anything. On windy days the wind would move our blinds with the house sealed up. Fast forward to move out and we moved our furniture to leave and the mold was everywhere in the master bedroom. Again. They said it was our fault and just surface mold and wiped it away. Do not live here it’s horrible. Oh and they charge to collect packages in the office because they don’t have time to deal with it but they have time to research every tenants birthday and give social media shout outs. This has caused my $5000 refrigerated medicine to be sent back to the warehouse to sit over the weekend. Talk about stressful.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Do not live here!
September 21, 2015We moved from Ga to Wa so we rented over the internet. The unit is old and outdated. The property manager Kim and her assistant Shawna are dishonest and rude. We were told that we had to give 60 day notice to vacate, so we did, but when our closing was delayed, we asked to extend our move out date by two weeks. Kim told us they had rented our unit to someone else, so even though we have a lease until March,we had to leave. I asked if they could put the new tenants in another unit and were told no ...other units were available, even though according to the website there were 5 units avaiable including the one DIRECTLY ACROSS THE HALL! The staff is either dishonest or ignorant, neither of which is good for business or residents.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Woodcliffe is a great choice!
November 20, 2013We have lived at Woodcliffe since April 2013. It's a very quiet neighborhood without a lot of excess vehicles. The street itself is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of what you'd come to expect from most city streets. The grounds are kept very clean, with landscapers coming every Monday. The office staff is SUPERB! I have never encountered a bad experience with them. From the day we made the call to view the apartments to this day, they have always been courteous, pleasant, and people I ...have very much enjoyed chatting with when I come to pick up a package that was left for me. Maintenance requests are fulfilled extremely quickly and I love that the office follows up to find out if it was fixed to my liking. The maintenance workers are always friendly and knowledgable. The neighbors here keep to themselves but are always willing to say a quick hello in passing and they are never, ever noisy. Woodcliffe is a great choice!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
