Horrible first experience renting
November 9, 2022I moved in March 2022 and could not stand it anymore so moved out August 2022. Ceiling leaked every time it rained, maintenance could never fix the problem. Bills were outrageous considering the size of the apartment and there only being one person (me) who was barely there. Contacting anyone from management was super difficult, always seemed to be someone different in the office, e-mails unanswered, or simply no one in the office as was the issue for most of July when I was trying to put in my ...notice that I was moving out. Had problems with spiders, ants, and sow bugs even though I cleaned regularly. The apartment itself was just okay, the area didn’t feel too unsafe I guess. But I still have not received my deposit after 3 months, the company keeps telling me it was sent in September and that maybe my address was wrong. It’s a lousy excuse for an apartment and I do not recommend unless you have low standards for an apartment and a high tolerance for bull****.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Great place to live!
June 11, 2018After looking around at multiple places to rent in north Kansas City, Woodcrest was the one! My wife and I were relocating to Kansas City from Nebraska for work, and needed a short term, affordable, and CLEAN apartment to rent for a few months while we found a home. Linda at Woodcrest was extremely accommodating to our needs. Everything about the stay at Woodcrest was great, from the beginning of the application process to the walk through at the time of moving out. Linda and her team were ...very response to the (minor) maintenance requests I had during my stay there. The property is well maintained, and the staff installed several upgrades during the time I was there, including a Maker's Room and bean bag toss. GREAT!
April 25, 2018Recently moved to the Kansas City area as a work transfer. Lived at the Woodcrest apartments while working and looking for a home to purchase. I must say that Linda was most helpfull, I rented my apartment over the phone while not knowing the area. Everything that Linda told me was right on spot, the area was GREAT, the apartment was AWESOME the area is quite and the residents are great. Linda went out of her way to set up things for my apartment and make the transition a seamless one. I would ...highly recommend the Woodcrest to anyone looking for a nice place to live in a great area. I even had to run over a month on my lease until closing on my home and once again Linda came to the resue and was most helpfull in resolving the issue. Good Apartment
August 27, 2017We recently moved in and we love it. We have a larger studio and it fits my husband and I plus our pups and a lot of our fruniture nicely. It very nice that they have carpent only in the closets and "bedroom" area it divides the apartment up nicely. The manegment is very nice. Linda is so sweet and really works with you and make sure everything gets taken care of for you. The nice thing about these apartments is that they use to be hotels so it has little things that really make it nice.Property Manager Responded
