Terrible serive, Smoking environment, no control to noise
July 31, 2022This is the most terrible apartment I ever live in. Contacting staff is always difficult unless you walk in to their office. Calling on phone always on hold, email replies after two or more days. This is EXPENSIVE apartment but you don't get what you pay for. Small washer and dryer. Compulsory Internet service without opt-out option (WTF), they charge it regardless u it or not. No noise control, you should bless you don't get a noisy neighborhood. No smoke inspection even you complaint about it.Review from Apartments.com
Bad Staff, Noisy, Mice, and Smoke
February 11, 2022Despite it saying that it’s a smoke free property, I assure that it is NOT a smoke free property. People constantly smoke here and the apartment complex doesn’t do anything. There seem to be people having parties in the neighborhood often, and nothing gets done about it. I also have a noisy neighbor upstairs, and despite me calling the apartment management and sending them emails for the past 3 months, nothing’s being done about it other than emails and calls. I asked the staff what can be done ...other than the emails and calling (not asking for eviction), and I was met with nonanswers, rude responses, and no actions. I’ve even sent them voice recordings of how loud my neighbors get even past midnight, and nothing concrete has been done. I understand that this is an apartment and that I’ll hear my upstairs neighbors, but it’s ridiculous that they stomp loudly to the point that my bed shakes and things on my desk shake. And again, it’s even more ridiculous that Eaves won’t do anything about it. They try to avoid taking actions regarding noise complaints by saying that they can only enforce noise complaints after quiet hours (10pm-8am). The problem is, they also say that they can’t handle noise complaints that happen when they’re not in office (after 5-6pm). They said that the residents should call Fairfax City police in instances of noise after quiet hours. But Fairfax City police doesn’t talk to the residents unless there’s noise loud enough for them to hear from outside of the front door. This means any stomping or loud talking from inside the individual rooms won’t get the police from talking to them. When I pointed that the police won’t speak to them for stomping or speaking loudly in their rooms, and that the office is closed before quiet hours start, they just brushed me off. I had mice problems here. This is a beware that this apartment may not be as pest free as it may seem. The leasing office staff has been unhelpful, and rude during my lease. One person has cut me off from speaking multiple times when I tried to explain my situation and called me disrespectful because of my frustrations (I didn’t curse, yell, or call them names). I asked them to stop cutting me off, and they continued to cut me off. When I asked them about what actions I can take about my complaints after I email them, they kept on repeating that I needed to email them. Eaves at Fairfax
August 20, 2015This apartment complex is a calm, quiet and serene spot tucked away in the middle of a busy city. The development backs up to a park yet in walking distance to "downtown Fairfax" shops/restaurants and George Mason University/Patriot Center. Apartment itself is a good size with decent storage, washer/dryer, balcony. Grounds are well maintained and staff responsive, courteous and helpful. Pool is great and usually open past Labor Day. Pretty great
August 10, 2015The eaves at Fairfax are pretty awesome. Quick response time for maintenance requests, the staff are friendly, and someone is always there to sign for packages so they're not left out in the open. My Apartment Review
July 20, 2015Very spacious living and dining area, as well as the kitchen! The bathroom and bedroom are the perfect sizes for the amount of people we have living here, which is three. The patio is nice as well, and I love that w have a washer and a dryer in the unit! The amenities (pool, access to World Gym, Providence Park, the tennis courts, and the community clubhouse) are awesome!
