    I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior I experienced from the maintenance staff member who recently came to fix my lock. When I tried to speak with him, he shut the front door in my face mid-conversation, which was incredibly rude. Prior to his arrival, he had called me, but when I answered, he said nothing and never called back. I even reached out to the concierge to follow up, but I never heard back from anyone. What made this ...
    experience especially concerning was his attitude. He claimed that a malfunctioning front door lock wasn’t an emergency. In my perspective, especially considering the recent incidents in the LA metro area involving intrusions into unlocked homes and fatal outcomes, safety and security are non-negotiable. His dismissive response and statement that I “didn’t know what I was talking about” were both unprofessional and deeply disappointing. While the repair was ultimately completed, the attitude and treatment I received left a lasting negative impression. Frankly, I would have rather paid someone out of pocket who could not only do the job but also treat me with basic respect and courtesy. Not sure if there has been a change in management, as I’ve lived here the last 3 years but lately there have been multiple days where no responses have been given and it’s unprofessional and disappointing.

  • Dirty Hallways, Old Apartments, and a Management That’s Not Worth It.

    I want to share my experience after living in this complex for a year. Many tenants trust what management says, but once the lease is signed, the reality is completely different. From the start, my experience went from bad to worse. Minor issues became unbearable, and management, already inefficient, became unresponsive. They ignored complaints about noise at 5 a.m., dirty hallways, and security issues. Emails and complaints went unanswered. The elevators rarely worked, forcing me to carry heavy ...
    items up the stairs for days. For over $3,000 in rent, this is unacceptable. The building itself is outdated, with poorly patched walls and old appliances that drive up electricity bills. Worst of all, management overcharges tenants for supposed “repairs” upon move-out. Despite painting the apartment and leaving it in perfect condition, I was unfairly charged a painting fee. The lack of response and poor management were key reasons I did not renew my lease. If you’re considering moving here, research thoroughly. Don’t be fooled by staged photos. A bad housing experience affects your quality of life daily—don’t make the same mistake.

    One of the best things about living here is the maintenance team! Being in an apartment I would say good maintenance is one of the more important things you want to have. They are so quick to respond to every little thing and always go above and beyond to make sure we’re happy here! Joel, Rolando, Cesar and Paulino are a wonderful team! Every single one of them is very caring and great at their jobs!

    I love living here at Sunset and Vine. The premises are beautiful, clean and up-to-date. The staff here is superlative. Everyone is friendly, informative, professional, and always available to respond to any questions or concerns. Maintenance is prompt and efficient. The front desk is always on top of things and interested in helping. The people who clean are kind and friendly and very prompt in taking care of any colon issues created by the tenants.     the 101 in a matter of minutes. The Sunday farmers market is right downstairs and grocery shopping is right across the street at Trader Joe’s. This place has everything you could want.

    I love living here. The premises offer full services, full amenities, and the staff at every level is immediately responsive and helpful. I love the cleaning crew and the maintenance crew and the front desk and the rental office. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and immediately responsive to all needs.

    I have only just moved in and when a friend who was helping me said the door didn’t shut properly to the bathroom, I took the order in time following day. While it was a minor inconvenience and nothing that would have stopped me from living my best life, maintenance still came to check on all the doors that same day. I’ve never had service done so quickly before in an apartment complex and it was nice to feel like a priority even if the issue wasn’t major
