Atlanta is a hotbed of great places to eat, drink and be merry, with a club, bar or pub around every corner of the city, but what is an apartment-ite to do if he wants to have a delicious meal, a pint, and also listen to some live music? Well, there are few places around town that claim to do this justice, but the place that gets it right in all the right ways is Smith's Olde Bar. Don't be fooled by the archaic title, this place is one of the best places in town to get just about every type of entertainment you could want, but enjoying some great music, to watching to the game, to playing a game of pool or golden tee. Smith's is not the old-fashioned bar the name might suggest. It's got five rooms for your drinking, gaming, and music needs, each one giving a different facet to what should be one of your best nights out in the city. The first room of interest is the dining room, where you can enjoy all the delectable eatables the kitchen is throwing out, while also enjoying some of their great brews. Hungry folks in most bars would have to wolf down simple appetizers or typical bar food, but not at Smith's Olde Bar. They cook up food fresh and delicious here, from appetizers to salads, to burgers. If you're in need of some beers, you can go downstairs to the bar and order up some of your favorites, most of which are on tap. Take a trip upstairs and you'll get the Smith's Olde Music Room, host to some of the best live music that comes through Atlanta. Any day of the week you show up, they'll be some fantastic band doing their thing, and many times you can catch festivals or special nights that feature a variety of different artists are for one price. You can also take a trip down to the pool room, the room perfectly suited to your gaming needs. Finally, take a break and relax in the Atlanta room, which features different types of entertainment depending on the day.
