Though Barton Springs Pool may get most of the attention when it comes to Austin pools, another pool has been getting the attention of Austinites for years, thanks to a loyal fan following and a rich history. Deep Eddy is the oldest swimming pool in Texas, and has been a favorite spot for folks from Austin apartments for generations, helping them to escape the Texas heat, thanks both the cool water of the pool, and the large trees that flank it on several sides. All these things come together to create one of the best swimming experience in town, so it's easy to see why on any particular day you can find dozens or even hundreds of people making their way to this pool, especially those from apartments near Deep Eddy. When the summer sun beats down on Austin apartment residents, they must have some way to escape the heat, and there are few betters ways to do that than to take a dip in Deep Eddy.
