Write a ReviewDeland, FL is in a great location in Volusia County. Anyone can leave their Deland apartment and be in Daytona Beach in 30 minutes, or Orlando in about 40 minutes. The city is home to Stetson University and a couple of smaller colleges. There are many outdoor activities and local attractions to enjoy. Deland has a robust economy and great year-round weather, which makes this a great choice when moving to central Florida.
Deland's great climate is usually the first reason why people say you should choose to live here. Another good reason is that housing and rental costs are lower in Deland than in many of the surrounding cities and suburbs.
