There are also a number of education programs at the park, whether you're a child or an adult. For children, there are a number of camps, workshops, and special events that help educate them about the animal world and their own environment. One of the most popular events is Bunk with the Beasts, where children sleep over at the zoo and learn about the animals and plants that call the park home. They also have a fun summer camp for those in preschool to fifth grade. For adults, they have a number of programs to help you get in touch with the animal lover in you, from community outreach programs, to volunteering opportunities, to special events and classes to help teach you what you need to know about the wildlife and their environment at the zoo.
