It is a place to learn the nuts and bolts of the real historical facts about Dallas Stockyards. The cattle ranchers, cowboys, and bar tenders, bankers and butchers teamed with harlots, horse traders and hog dealers to make up one of the richest historical areas in Dallas area. From the Civil War till present day the livestock market has been the bread and butter and backbone of this districts economy and there is no better place for the apartment-ite to learn it all than the Stockyard Historical District. It isn't hard at all for the Dallas apartment-ite to lose a whole day in the wonders of the stockyard. Everywhere one turns is a fun attraction, event or show.
