Detroit is a city rich in deep history, and Detroit apartment-ites owe it themselves to take in some of the best historical places they can, so why not go to a place where you can take in a piece of history while enjoying a nice beer at the same time. Baker Streetcar Bar allows for just that, bringing a little bit of history the busy motor city, and even the name is steeped in history. The walls are covered with pictures of the good old days of the city, with pictures of the famous street cars, famous sports stars, and other historical memorabilia. Aside from a history lesson, it's also a fantastic neighborhood bar, a great place to go and take in a beer with the buds or have a pleasant chat with the folks you meet. The place packs in the crowds every night, and it's not hard to see why. They have a full bar, with talented bartenders creating just about anything you could want, from the mundane to the more creative, and a huge selection of beers, both domestics and imports. The prices aren't bad either, with two and a half bucks getting you a domestic bottle or a well drink. For even cheaper prices, come in during one of their happy hours, when prices drop down by half. No matter what your poison, you'll find something to quench your thirst here. Combining history with great atmosphere and terrific drink special, it's easy to see why young folks crowd this hot locale.
