Houston apartment-ites love their sports, and there are plenty of ways to enjoy those sports around town, so where is the best place to catch the big game, as well as have a good brew and a delicious, affordable lunch or dinner? Hop on over to Bubba's Sport Bar, where you'll be able to catch the big game while munching on some delicious burgers, and won't have to break the bank to do it, that is, unless you want to take part in their 'suicide' pool. You won't miss a minute of the action, or leave with an empty stomach. A sports bar wouldn't be worth its weight if it didn't give you the opportunity to enjoy your favorite teams, so of course Bubba's offers you plenty of viewing options. There are thirteen TVs scattered across the bar, making it almost impossible for you to not find some entertaining sport event to catch. You'll also have plenty of games to choose from, with cable and satellite being piped in so there will be plenty of games available for your viewing pleasure. In a place like this full of masculine spirit, it makes sense that only the most masculine of foods takes center stage at this sports bar: the hamburger. Boasting some of the best burgers in town, Bubba's offers you plenty of variety in beef fare. Made with one-third of one-hundred percent ground chuck, they offer plenty of great specialty burgers, including The Squeeze Play, with double meat and two kinds of cheese, the Hotplay, with a bunch of spicy jalapenos, the Low Ball, with chili, onions and cheddar cheese, and the Home Run Burger, with bacon, grilled onions, cheese and hickory sauce. If you want things your way, then you can choose any of their delicious ingredients and build your burger your way. For your non-burger enthusiasts, there are plenty of delicious and affordable daily specials every day of the week. Whether you want Pot Roast, Catfish, Chicken Fried Steak, or Chicken Fried Chicken, there's a daily special just for you. If salad is more your speed, they have some interesting options, such as the country chicken salad, with fried chicken, eggs, bacon and olives, and the grilled chicken salad, with fresh grilled chicken. No matter what your sport, this is one place that shouldn't be missed.
