Seafood restaurants are a common sight for most of those living in Houston apartments, so the hardest job is not finding a place to get good seafood, but to choose which of the many good seafood joints is the best. With fresh gulf seafood served fast and delicious, Captain Tom's Seafood and Oyster Bar is one of the best places in town to get delicious fried seafood for great prices. If you're an oyster fan, you much make your trip down to Captain Tom's, the place for fried oysters straight from the gulf. Captain Tom's is one of the best places in Houston for fried seafood. Whether it's fish, shrimp, oysters, or even crawfish, they can fry up and get it to you fast and delicious. They seafood is always fresh as well, and you'll wonder if they pulled the seafood is coming straight out of the gulf coast that morning. If you're not in the mood for all that fried food, you can get your oysters on the half-shell, or get a nice heaping cup of gumbo made with the same fresh gulf seafood. Part of what makes this restaurant so interesting is how you go about ordering and paying your bill. It's not your usual sit down café, where waiters wait on you hand-and-foot. Instead, you go up to the counter and make your order, and then pick it up when your number is called. You don't even get a bill at this establishment. Instead, at the end of your meal, you go to the counter and tell them exactly what you had, and then they tell you the price, and with prices as low as this place, you won't have to resort to lying to saving some money. Captain Tom's Seafood and Oyster bar always has a great crowd pounding down the door, and it obvious why. Seafood so fresh that they seem like they've been tugged from the nets, and great casual atmosphere, it has everything an apartment owner needs for a terrific meal of delicious seafood.
