Fu's Garden has a great selection of Chinese and Asian favorites that are not only delicious, but also healthy, with ambiance to spare. Fu's Garden is one of the top places in town for you to go and have a good Asian meal, without kicking yourself after. Being located right down the road from Rice University, Fu's Garden caters to those college students are who are tired of the food courts usual fast food fair and want something fresh and delicious that isn't fried, covered in gravy of filled with ground beef. The restaurant provides no artificial ingredients in most of its dishes, and cooks in low-cholesterol vegetable oil and makes sure that no dish contains any MSG whatsoever. There's no need to worry about Frankenmeat here, either, because they used USDA certified Angus beef and real white meat chicken in all of their dishes, and all fresh vegetables. So, with so many delicious meals to choose from, what's the best option? Crowds pile into this location for their delicious dumplings, in many flavors, but the most popular is the vegetable, perfect for their health conscious patrons. Of course, if you're not too worried about your health, then there are plenty of old standards to choose from, such as beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, or mooshoo pork, as well as the soups you've grown to love, including one of the best hot and sour soups in town. If you're looking for delicious Chinese food near the campus area, but don't want to spend an arm and a leg, while also doing good things for your body, then Fu's Garden is really your best option. You can even have it delivered to your apartment if you're busy, and still have fresh, healthy food right at your disposal.
