Those that live in Ocean Beach apartments have got to have a laid back attitude to live in this excellent and casual seaside community with a beautiful beach with dunes. With swimming, surfing, fishing and just walking and jogging on this one mile wide beach, plus the amenities of shopping, restaurants and plenty of ice cream and coffee shops, there's always plenty to do on the inner shore. Invite friends from San Diego apartments to join you for a day or a weekend. Lifeguards are well within reach for the hesitant ocean swimmer, as well as public restrooms. As with most San Diego beaches, swimmers from San Diego apartments are instructed to stay out of the way of surfers and fisherman, with well-marked areas for each. Fishing is a fun experience on the Ocean Beach pier, which can get fairly smelly with fish remains, but is high above the water and shows awesome ocean views. Even if you're not a fisherman, make it a point to go to the pier, and if you decide to fish, no fishing license is required. Scuba diving is not allowed for Ocean Beach apartment residents because of the strong rip tides found here. If your Ocean Beach apartments are within walking distance of the water, they most surely are also close to an eclectic mix of restaurants. From seafood to burgers, people can always find an option to cooking in their San Diego apartments. One more amenity to this great beach is Dog Beach at the north end of the beach.
