Unit Description
This large apartment is the entire first floor of a renovated historic house built around 1920. This house is in a quiet family neighborhood that is walking distance to KU, Dillon s Grocery Store and Downtown. It has a large front porch, a partially fenced back yard (shared with upstairs apt), and off street parking for 2 cars. The living room is very large with high ceilings, wood floors, ceiling fan, a window air conditioner, and a storage closet. Both bedrooms also have wood floors, ceiling fans, window air conditioners, and double closets with sliding mirror doors. The kitchen is huge, with a full size stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and room for a large table and chairs. Off the kitchen is the laundry room, equipped with a full size washer and dryer, and there is a back door off the laundry area into the back yard. The bathroom is small, but has a tub shower combination, a pink sink from the 1950s, and a built in linen cabinet. The house is equipped with a high efficiency furnace. Neutered cats and Dogs under 40 pounds are welcome with pet rent and a pet deposit. This house has been locally owned and managed by the Schneider family for more than 25 years. The apartment is shown by appointment only Monday thru Friday between 10am & 7pm.
