MAIN STREET: Awesome shopping/restaurant district is just 1 block away, where you will find every type of cafe and cuisine imaginable in all price ranges, and an eclectic mix of boutiques, vintage clothing, surf shops, history, galleries, etc. Urth Cafe is only 1 blocks away and Stella Barra (which many say has the best pizza in the city) is only 3 blocks away. A wonderful Sunday morning farmer's market takes place on Main St too. Gourmet food trucks are stationed there on Tuesday nights, and the street is even prettier in the evenings around the holidays. Only 10-12 blocks away (15 minute walk) is the famous Santa Monica pier with its amusement park & restaurants, downtown Santa Monica & the 3rd St Promenade which has 100's of stores and restaurants, movie theaters, and talented street performers (this is LA, after all!). ABBOT KINNEY / VENICE: The artsy/beachy/trendy neighborhood is also only about 10-15 blocks away (15 minute walk) and is home to some of the best restaurants in the city and some of the truly must see LA spots (Venice boardwalk, canals, Muscle Beach, “White Men Can’t Jump” basketball courts, etc.).
