The house faces west so you’ll be able to enjoy nice evenings watching the sunset on the porch and seeing many neighbors take their afternoon/evening walks. There is an iron metal fence with an electric powered gate for secured parking. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a quick bite all the way up to meal prepping for the week. The kitchen has a new refrigerator and stove, and includes a coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, and microwave. New stacked washer and dryer in the house. There is laundry soap and a few other toiletries to get you started. Depending on how busy the house is there will be cleaning about every 2 weeks. The way the house is set up, you can get home and relax in the comfort of your own room or you can interact in the open space in the kitchen, come and go as you please. A quick drive will get you to a larger grocery store, Farmer Joe’s that is beloved in Oakland with its large produce selection and meat department. Highland Hospital is a short 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk. Many universities, medical centers, and hospitals are easy to access since we are close to freeway entrances. There is a 62 and 14 bus stop at the corner that will take you to multiple BART stations. A 15 minute walk will get you to the 57 and NL bus lines. The NL is a transbay bus line that will get you to San Francisco.
