This home has amazing views from nearly every room since it sits on the bank of the Willamette River, and is mere feet from Willamette Park. Snow capped Mount St Helen’s can also be seen on clear days from the back of the house and the large deck overlooking the river. The house has an amazing central location in the South Portland neighborhood of John’s Landing. It’s less than a 10 minute drive to OHSU, Lewis & Clark, PSU or downtown. The Willamette Greenway Trail runs right in front of the house so it's great for runners or a leisurely stroll along the river. You can bike to the aerial tram in the South Waterfront neighborhood in about 15mins, or go on a longer bike ride that takes you around the full waterfront loop through the downtown and back down to cross the nearby Sellwood Bridge. It’s all right outside your front steps. This home features an open floor plan with views from the kitchen through the great room out to the river. It has a recently remodeled bathroom with a large tiled shower, and a laundry area with front loading washer and dryer. There is one main bedroom plus a second bonus room that can be used as an office or 2nd bedroom area for guests. The main bedroom has a walk-in-closet and a queen bed with a tempurpedic topper. The second room provides flexibility with a desk, shelves and a double-size futon. The house has been recently painted throughout, and has an A/C even though you rarely need it. There is also an off street parking spot for your car. But the favorite part of the house is the back deck with over 200sqft of space, a large patio table and BBQ. Bald eagles, osprey, blue herons, beavers and even the occasional sea lions are some of the amazing nature you can see if you make this place home. Available Feb 1 for monthly rentals. Prices include utilities. $3400 per month.
