Take a ride on the Old Town Trolley (only a few minutes' walk to the nearest stop) to see everything the city has to offer before stopping in for drinks at The Tini Martini Bar overlooking the water – the perfect way to end each day in the Oldest City. St. Augustine is the nation’s most historic city and also holds the distinction of being one of the most charming. Sun, fun, history, and mystery — from the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument to the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum and everything in between, there is something for everyone and all just a few minutes from the flat. The flat is located right in the heart of Uptown St Augustine just a few minutes’ walk from the main street known for boutique shops, art galleries, antique stores, as well as local eateries from pizza to fine dining — such as the beautiful Raintree Restaurant (a 3-minute walk away) and the delicious Luli’s cupcakes (5 min walk). Head south along San Marco Ave where you will find all sorts of innovative food and drink options, cool indie shops selling everything from furniture to flowers, books, ice cream, cupcakes, art and then wind up in the downtown Historic District (20 min walk) which is a whole other adventure. Those who appreciate architecture from the 1800s to the 1920s will want to walk through a number of small neighborhoods listed on the National Register of Historic Places. These include the Abbott Tract Historic District, Matanzas Bay, Pine, San Marco, Shenandoah Aves, and the Nelmar Terrace Historic District. Jump aboard the Trolley to see the city, or hire a bike and take your time soaking up each neighborhood, museum, and monument. The city is very walkable and we also have Uber or Lyft. There is a trolley stop at the end of the street at the Mission de Nombres. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am per St. Johns County ordinance and are enforced. The minimum age to book is 25 and the primary guest on the reservation must be present for the duration of the stay. No parties are allowed, and any guests visiting outside of the reservation must be approved by hosts prior to their arrival. The home has an actively recording security camera installed at the front door. An attempt to remove, tamper, or disconnect the internet to Ring may result in the reservation being canceled and guests requested to vacate the premises. No pets are allowed on the property at any time. No vaping or smoking is allowed whatsoever on the property, including the front porch. If evidence of smoking is found, you will be subject to an additional cleaning fee. Late check-outs and early check-ins are not permitted without prior approval. Guests who stay past checkout time will be charged an additional fee of $50/hr. Illegal drugs, including marijuana, are strictly prohibited. No underage drinking is allowed.
