She was consistently unprofessional, dismissive, and disrespectful not only toward employees but also toward prospective residents. Instead of creating a welcoming and professional environment, she often came across as rude and uninterested when people had questions or concerns. Employees were not treated with respect or support, and communication was handled poorly. February 24, 2026 - Reseña de Apartments.comI had my lease start mid-week, so I could check it out before my movers showed up on the weekend. When I walked in, they had clearly not walked in this apartment since the previous tenant moved out. It was disgusting, there were roaches everywhere, etc. I work with apartments myself and know we are all human and sometimes things slip through the cracks, so I told them it was no problem as long as they fixed it by the time my movers showed up a few days later on Saturday. When my movers showed ...up on Saturday it was somehow even worse. Nobody had event attempted to fix it. Someone had started to replace the blinds but didn't finish and left the old blinds and sawdust on the floor. That didn't even matter to me though because ZERO of our two bathrooms worked. This was a Saturday, and when I told the office that I had NO working bathrooms and our apartment was filthy they refused to call maintenance to help. They claimed it was due to business from a storm the week before, but my apartment had been vacant for over a month. They also have refused to provide me with the manager's email or the name of their management company. At one point my personal washer broke and while I was waiting for my new one to be shipped I looked into doing my laundry on-site. The on-site team said we had to buy a card, etc. Either way, between their mis-information about charges, I paid almost $20 to use their facilities ONCE when I was told it would just be a few bucks. I have also had workers show up for services I didn't ask for with ZERO warning, which is actually a violation of the Texas Apartment Association lease. To this day I still don't have a direct way to contact the manager or the management company. I'm so grateful I'm in a position to move out at the end of my current lease.Leer Más

The workout room all the equipment is broken and parts missing, the entire year i lived there both pools were closed the whole time, but that didnt stop them from charging me amenity fees. The side walks are ...cracked below the dirt line so when it rains they get all muddy and you will slip and fall going to the mailbox. Loving the New Vibe at Bent Tree Park!

The office team, Seth and Art, are super friendly and always make sure everything’s running smoothly. They’re really responsive and always willing to help when I need something. The maintenance team is on top of things too – they always take care of requests quickly, and it’s clear they are constantly improving and keeping the place looking great. The entire property has definitely been ...looking better lately, with improvements everywhere! The dog park and pools are always nice and clean, and the fitness center is a bonus, especially the membership to the Addison Athletic Club. It’s just a great place to live, close to everything in Addison but still feels peaceful. Definitely happy I chose to call Bent Tree Park home!Leer Más

Cons: The lack of professional management regarding many issues with units containing roaches, water leaks, damaged foundations, inefficient electrical components (ex: stoves, fridges and outdated air conditioning systems). Not to mention the dusty air ducts that provide little to no cool air. I recognize the absence of maintenance staff but the property itself is poorly maintained.Property Manager Responded

Absolutely horrible - Do not move here!

The apartment management is terrible, they never communicate properly, are frequently out of the office, and never offer solutions to the issues you are facing. I experienced chronic bug issues from the very first day I moved in - ants, roaches, millipedes, pill bugs, etc. I contacted the apartment management multiple times and they never provided adequate solutions to solve the issue. The apartments themselves are in terrible shape. ...There are cracks and gaps around every corner and seam inside. The buildings are so poorly constructed that many patios and staircases are sagging and appear unsafe. The apartment building next to mine caught fire and almost burned down completely. The walls are so thin that you can hear absolutely everything your neighbors are doing. The community is not great either, many people don't pick up after their dogs or themselves. There is dog poop and trash littered throughout the entire complex. Once again the apartment staff seems to not care or put any effort into maintaining the grounds. Completely broken application process
August 22, 2022 - Reseña de Apartments.comI think Bent Tree is a very nice looking apartment complex. I applied here, but unfortunately, the application process is pretty broken. The main gripe I have is that my leasing agent has still, even after a week and a half, never actually responded to a single email I've sent. I admit I perhaps called a few too many times checking in on things, but I would not have called in every day if I could just get a response and an update on where things were. I did not actually get all of the documents ...required to apply on the first email I was sent. I also wasn't given full instructions on how to make the app fee payment. I sent in my documents, and I called to see if I was missing anything. I was told they didn't receive the email (though later it turns out they did, but they never responded back and said so). I called in again later to get information on how to make the app payment. I made the payment and sent them an email with the payment confirmation as directed. I still did not get an email letting me know the information was received, so again, I had to call them. I was told that they would work on my application. I then called back the next day to see what the next steps were, and they told me they had earlier moveins and would process it later. I could not get a firm time on when I could expect my application to be processed. I later called and asked for a manager and was told that they would work on getting me a response so I would feel more at ease. I still did not receive an email. This process has been broken and I'm out $350 for the application because it went into a black hole. I understand that they have other applicants that they have to work with, but I have to get movers ready, get packed, etc, so I have to know if I'm approved or not. If they had just emailed me once or twice to let me know where we stood I certainly would not have called as much, which would have ultimately saved time for both them as well as me. I would not recommend this place unless you are desperate or you have a very long time for your application to be processed.Leer MásProperty Manager Responded
September 15, 2022Dear David, Thank you for your candid review. After reviewing your emails and your file, I can see that you were emailed the information on how to pay for your application days before you applied online. Afterwards, another email was sent by our assistant manager providing information how to pay for application, which is the same process to pay your administration fee. I believe that the disconnect occurred because the emails came from a different email address from our software system than the email address that you have been communicating with your leasing agent. Furthermore, your leasing agent did email you the link to apply online. Once you applied, an email was sent to providing the written information for the documents needed to process your application and the Resident Qualifying Criteria. I can see that you have excellent communication and planning skills. My apologies for her not picking up on the cues that you like written confirmations instead of relying on verbal ...communication and that you are looking for specific details, so that you can plan. However, your leasing agent was in frequent verbal communication with you and your co-applicant, so she was unaware of your desire for duplicate communication by email. August 3, 2022 - Reseña de Apartments.comI’ve lived here for two years the first year was okay. Once we signed the second year everything went down hill. We had roaches coming from the baseboards, fire place etc. They “called” people to come spray the apartment but they didn’t help anything so we had to buy things to help ourselves. We were calling maintenance so they can come out and fix issues but they never came so we had to fix things ourselves. Office people just lie and make up things as they go. They always have a new person that ...works there. The gym is complete trash, they don’t fix equipment. Just don’t move here!!Leer MásProperty Manager Responded

Zero Star Experience
March 28, 2022 - Reseña de Apartments.comI have been renting at Bent Tree Park for many years. I pay my rent on time and I am a low maintenance tenant. I have a very sick parent and unfortunately have to move out of area to care for them. I went to discuss my options to get out of my lease today (I plan to give 45 days notice), and was basically told that I will have to pay thousands of dollars to get out without breaking my lease. Complete disregard for my circumstances and no willingness to work with me. Ofelia in the office said that ...she would speak to her supervisor and see if they can do anything to help, but I am extremely disappointed in the response I received after being a loyal resident for so long. While we certainly do wish that we could allow all of our good paying residents the option to terminate their leases when things happen in their lives and the lives of those they love. However, what we do for one, we must be willing to do for everyone. There are options that do allow you to terminate your lease early without paying rent through your entire lease, although those options do still require a proper written notice, and payment of certain fees.
