There is poor heating in the apartments , the size of rooms are smaller than most . Mgmt. claimed new rug when i moved in (with no pet ) had to have the rug repaired due to bunching numerous times and when the tech that came to repair it said it was not a new rug but pieced together poorly.
Appliances not working properly since i moved in and no repairs made. Tenant issues with people coming and going throughout the night not having any better judgement for other people . made many complaints ...
to mgmt. but they didnt care . this place is unsafe for children with the amount of police and drugs going on daily. Granted this was back in 2017-18 but i cannot believe during Covid things improved . go look somewhere else

If i could give a zero star I would.
when looking for a new apartment most people will look at the reviews for that place. We will click through and look at the 5 star and the 1 star reviews mostly. The 1 star reviews we all chalk up to someone being to sensitive or whatever... "this kind of thing won't happen to me" mentality takes a hold.
I was one of these people...
DO NOT LIVE HERE.
I have had to deal with incompetent staff, my apartment is falling apart around me.
I have the feeling leaving ...
here that I have been robed... I would not wish this on anyone looking for a place to call home. If this saves one person form the horror we have gone through it is worth it.

Staff,is main problem.they help taunt clients n ignore issues that are very important,Toni is the biggest uncaring n vindictive problem.and her rite hand maintence guy,very shaddy,partners.even dwn to paid under the table,to keep n harass tenants. I see why no one wants to live here and are moving.my car vandalized many time as well as brake line cut to being told not to use their security but they still promote them.i still have no waher,14 weeks, etc.but they just walked off.gresham police said ...
I'm not safe here.still healing from being be up here n strangled.so pls becareful when you choose any place you look into.

Repairs never done right and take forever

Repairs are never done right, they take for ever..still waiting on some repairs 2 years now.........def not worth the current rent.....noises from above are extremely loud..no noise barriers between floors...............would not recommend renting here.

The staff is super friendly and helpful and are there to help.
It's a very clean property and I am really glad I found this place.
Bonus! It's down the street from a Fred Meyer and a Chipotle!

When you look for a new home, you want to have that warmth and comfort knowing that you feel a part of a close knit community. That's exactly how it is at Parkside Apartments.
I first moved in April 2014 and I tell you, I have not looked back at my decision. From the moment we parked, were shown an apartment - the experience was left an everlasting impression. The leasing specialist who showed us around took everything I wanted and found the perfect home for us. Since the apartments do not have ...
a fenced backyard, I wanted a ground floor apartment with access to the grass area (check mark) that was easy. I needed an open floor plan to fit our obnoxious couch (another check mark). Lastly pet friendly (check again)! I couldn't believe it, after the amazing tour, my fiancé and I filled out the application. Guess what? We was approved and the process after was as smooth as could be. I paid the move in amount and scheduled my date of move in. There was only one bad experience and that was actually moving my furniture from the truck into my new home. Who would enjoy that? Honestly what make this place so great, beside the amazing office staff, everyone is so involved within the community. There is always some treat day going on in the office, there are frequent events which is great so you can get to know who you live near and make new friends. There is a new playground and built in gas BBQ grills. With plenty of grassy areas, this place is one of the most pet friendly places around. The area itself is great because you are so close to supermarkets, restaurants, shopping stores AND just across the street is an empty grass lot which is PERFECT for fetch, watching the sky (when it’s not too hot outside). Did I mention that there is also an onsite gym? Well there is with plenty of equipment so you won't get bored of the same thing. The swimming pool has been my favorite amenity by far. It’s a great way to cool down, never overcrowded. Overall I love my home, I do not plan to ever leave! Unless I finally purchase a home.
I really hope this helps in you finding that Parkside Apartments is a wonderful place to call home and is unmatched. :)
P.S. I forgot to mention the office staff make some really funny videos to announce when the pool will be opening or closing. I can guarantee the videos will make you LAUGH!

Apartment living can be quite challenging . So, finding a good one can be almost impossible. So, what if I told you there is an apartment out there, where management listens to your concerns, and you are treated fairly and with respect. In addition, your repair requests are handled quickly and cordially . Well, you might ask me is this a well taken care of complex , with reasonable rent . actually like them . Yes, it is possible . Parkside Apartments sound almost to good to be true, but they work hard to be the best . I give them my highest recommendation and praise . It's a difficult business , but they rank at the top!

These apartments appear very nice on the outside. It's very clean, there are doggy bag stations and landscapers are here almost daily. But the apartments themselves need a lot of work. First off, the floor plans are very small. There is hardly any storage inside the apartments. Honestly, there is not even one closet for storage. I was hardly able to fit my queen sized bed into the bedroom because of the awkward set up of the wall length closet and extremely short window. The floors are very ...
creaky and loud. I can hear every single step my neighbors take above me, and it doesn't help that they own a very active lab! I can also hear the conversations of the neighbors next door to me quite clearly. I have a 4 month old son and he has a difficult time falling asleep because of how loud these apartments are. Another negative, there are police cars here nearly every week. I was awfully surprised about this considering how high the rent is and how highly these apartments think of themselves. I have only lived here for one year but for the last 6 months, I have been desperately searching for a place to move! If you are considering moving here, please think twice!

I've been a renter for over 1/2 my life. I've lived in and managed luxury apartments. Parkside in Gresham may not be the newest , but possibly the best as far as sense of community and customer appeal. The community is clean with up kept landscaping. The interiors have faux wood floors and nice appliances. The tubs, kitchen cabinetry, and balconies could use some updating, but the renovations that have been done are great. going to have issue with sound and your occasional bothersome neighbor /pets anywhere you go.The amenities, staff, and maintenance are what make the place great.
