DONT MOVE HERE!
April 1, 2017old appliances, "water bugs" AKA ROACHES, drug dealers in and out of my next door neighbors apartment, quiet neighborhood with way too many kids that love to skip school. I have found children on my back porch skipping school and stealing patio chairs and smoking on my patio, I have had to call the Truancy Police also for them. Make sure you invest in a home security system living here, with all the activity. ALSO....That chick named Mahogany, which she is the assistant in the rental office ...always has a nasty rude attitude for no reason, very unprofessional, I dislike talking to her i always ask for the managers Sandra or Michelle which are both polite and KNOWLEDGABLE about their job unlike Mahogany.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Not the best place to live
March 14, 2017I have been living in my townhouse for 3 years. It started out great, the cost of rent for my 3 bedroom and 1.5 bath was amazing to me. I was excited to have gotten such a great value. But I realized after years of living here that the value decreases a lot the more time you are there. Starting with all the issues I have had whole living here: leaving ceilings, water dripping from and flooding windowsills (with electrical outlets right underneath), mice, cars getting broken into, cockroaches, ...hole made in wall by contractors hired by the company, disgusting laundry room, kids messing with my laundry, stolen packages, and the list goes on and on. The staff is very friendly but don't do much about the issues you experience, and don't get back to you fast enough. I have never lived an an apartment or rented anywhere with this many issues. If it's not the toilet that's messed up, it's the refrigerator. It has just always been something. Neighbors got sketchier as time went by, hence cars all of a sudden getting broken into around the neighborhood and middle school kids messing with people's laundry and smoking. I wouldn't suggest this neighborhood to anyone unless they are looking for a cheap and temporary place to live. The only pros is that it was spacious, cheap, and in a good location in relation to places around the city. But too many problems caused me to hate living here. Info about me: I am a 25 year old living with her boyfriend, moved in originally with a a friend. Honest Review after three years of observation
July 20, 2016These people are common thieves! I think it's because none of them have lived there long enough. Once you've lived in over a year then you know that Stratford Hills is filled with mice, cockroaches, old floors that fall down through other floors from water damage, and many visits in and out of your apartment by strange men. And they do this because they are trying to put paint on an old barn that really needs to be condemned and maybe some condos built or at least some proper Townhomes/ ...apartments at least. Livable
July 20, 2015My apt is in good condition, but the washer has to connect to the sink faucet. My great grandmother hasn't had to do that in years. The dishwasher operates by a switch, my grandmother had that when she was younger. The gas stove needs to be lit so fast or it games you out of the apt. I pulled out a drawer to oil the track so it would work better just to find a huge whole in the floor. August 22, 2015I think accountabilty is important. I had an issue where i came back from vacation and the ac wasnt working right an had flooded some of the carpet. Yikes! Right well they were on it pronto cleaned it up an all. 2 days later now ac only blows hot air another yikes in the middle of summer. Tremendous value for the money
June 19, 2014A fantastic value for the money. I have lived here for 6 months and I am extremely pleased with my decision to move here. I was looking for an inexpensive place to live to downsize and save some money for the future. Overall: Stratford Hills Bethany Springs is extremely clean, noise free, and the new management is making weekly improvements to the grounds. The exteriors are dated and so are the interiors, and there are no real amenities to speak of -- but if you are looking for a safe, ...reasonably nice, noise free place to live with excellent management, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I am very pleased with my decision to live here and I have found my neighbors to be pleasant and friendly. Pros: - Absolutely no noise issues which was one of my concerns. - The grounds are maintained immaculately cleaned, absolutely no trash is allowed outside. - The patio is spacious and a nice place for a grill. - They are pet friendly and as a dog owner I have found the neighbors to be very dog friendly, even those without a dog. - I do not have children, however It seems to be a safe location for children and families, and many of my neighbors have school age children. Cons: - The exteriors are dated, however in my 6 months here I see them making weekly upgrades. The new management is hard at work. - The interiors are dated however extremely livable for the price.
