Small building, convenient location, upgraded units

When I moved in, the rent was still "affordable" so I was able to score one of the larger units in this building. At ~450 square feet for a two room studio (eat-in kitchen, hallway separating to the living space), it's perfect for one person small dog. Pet-friendly! Which is rare in the city. The area is truly lower Nob Hill, it's up the hill from Tenderloin, so while there are people sleeping on the stoop occasionally, I don't feel threatened or unsafe at all (as a single female). Neighbors ...

are all friendly, the units are all hardware floors and granite countertops. No dishwashers or W/D in units as far as I know. There are coin-operated washer dryers in the basement which are rarely in use, so you just have to walk around the corner to Trader Joes to get your coins. Overall, very good living situation for this super central location to downtown, Polk St, and Russian Hill.
