Oldie but goodie

This is an older building but the current management has done a great job of updating the appliances, countertops, outdoor facilities, etc. to make it a nice place to live. Whenever I had a maintenance issue or request, they would respond almost immediately and typically send someone to address the issue that same day.

address the issue as needed. I saw some in my apartment when I first moved in but they promptly addressed it and I didn't see any more of them for the rest of the year.
Parking and pet fees are very cheap at this location which is a huge plus. I also loved that it is within a tiny pocket of "nature-y" area and I could hear birds chirping in the morning. Overall, it is a good deal for the price. My main "con" of living here was that it takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the nearest metro, but I still did that 2-3 times per week and it was fine. The main reason I moved out was to be closer to my work and friends in DC.
