  We have newly renovated (2019) bright and airy, furnished basement apartment for rent on a quiet street in Brightwood DC. This is perfect for someone who is new to DC! We prefer short-term rentals. Available asap for $1,500 a month. The roughly 650 square foot area has the following: - Private entrance - Tile floors, recessed lighting, quartz countertops (color scheme: light gray, white) - Private bathroom with ¾ bathroom (shower, no tub) (bathroom updated 10 years ago) - Kitchen with full-size fridge, stove, and dishwasher - Large closet - Full-sized washer/dryer in a utility room - WiFi - Microwave, kitchen utensils, dinnerware, cookware, etc. - Full bed, couch, dining table and chairs The apartment is comprised of two rooms: - 1 bedroom - 1 general living space area with closet/storage. - Full kitchen with a range and a new full-sized fridge - 1 mile to Takoma metro (red line)/Close to bus lines running up Georgia Ave/14th Street - Free, zoned street parking - All utilities but cable included Other details: - We have shared laundry in the basement near the private entrance. - The basement has radiator heating. - We are a family of six living on the main level and upstairs level of the house. We have four children ages 13, 10, 7, and 4 who make a normal amount of noise for children. The children rise around 7:00 am every day of the week. We will do our best to keep their activity on the low and quiet side in the morning in the interest of the tenant occupying the space beneath us but we can't guarantee we will be quiet all mornings. We will likely be up and about and moving around the first floor of the house by 7:30 am every day. Our children go to bed around 8 pm. Please know that noise will be at a minimum from 7:30 pm onward most nights. **the images show a TV, a TV is not provided. Also, not pictured are two wooden chairs for the table and a dresser for the bedroom.** Monthly rent: $1,500 Security Deposit: $1,000 Lease Terms: 1, 3, or 6 months Credit check required for all serious applicants.
