I loved my little downtown apartment until I realized that people visiting downtown will park in the resident spaces if there’s nothing else, leaving no where to go for the residents. It can be really frustrating on busy days with lots of traffic. Beach traffic can make it nearly impossible to get home. interactions with them and while most of them are fine, there have been several instances where I was either followed or harassed by them. I called the police three times on them while living here for just a year. With a dog that I sometimes have to walk at night, I just didn’t feel safe living here anymore. On the inside, there is literally no counter space. Really unfortunate kitchen layout. And bathroom is tiny as well. But restaurants and hiking trails so... kind of depends what you’re in to. If you don’t have to walk a dog alone at night or don’t cook much at home, this could be a great option for you.
