I wish the previous review from June 2022 was posted before I had already moved in a few months earlier. I thought I was getting a great deal for the rental because it was slightly below market value and offered a month to month lease. This has been the worst renting experience of my life. I’ve been a quiet and respectful tenant in other apartments for years and have never been treated so poorly before meeting this landlord. The landlord/owner is unprofessional, demeaning, and unethical. She ...
refuses to bring in professionals/experts to repair or replace large broken appliances that are decades old. Instead, she will look up online how to DIY repair large appliances on her own but unsurprisingly does not have the expertise to actually fix the problems correctly. This is an independent landlord who rents out the other units to her family. You will be the only outsider tenant and will be alone when there are problems. I had enough of being gaslit for bringing up reoccurring problems for months and moved out as soon as I could. The landlord has no intention of making this a positive experience for tenants and I genuinely feel sorry for the next tenant that rents the unit. This property and the people who run it are not worth the stress and frustration. Read up on rental law, tenant's rights, and live somewhere else.

Stay far away!

The landlords might seem nice when you meet them, but they will try all kinds of shady stuff when you move out. I wish I had been more aware of tenants rights when I lived there. It was a very expensive lesson. Also, location kinda sucks, parking is a pain. Especially when the owners take your spot!
